whats everyone use for the big fat fish

With Berkley Big Game 30# you can catch about anything. Big Sharks, Grown Goliath Grouper, etc. can break ya off if you don't have enough line.

I like to fish:

• 80lb for Big Sharks, Swordfish etc.
• 40lb - 60lb for bottom fishing
• 30lb trolling for Dorado, Kingfish, Sailfish,
• 25lb throwing to Cobia, Dorado, etc.
• 8lb - 20lb fishing inshore and from the jetties

This is just me and changes from time to time and depending on the conditions and recent fish sizes etc.

My line of preference in Momoi Diamond in Clear or Blue

This is only what I like to use WHEN using Mono.....

thanks for the reply .yea sharks that was funny.im going to try to get some big line but then ill have to get biger poll & reel.were do you buy your big game stuff around here. i had bought salt water stuff but all i think i can catch with it are big bass. i sent you a pm i dont know if you got it.i wrote you some under secret places.ill work on geting biger stuff to be able to go out to the ocean with ya. all i have is 20# shakespeare rod with shakspeare tw30tw tidewater conventional reel with the birkly 30# line.thought i had somthing then saw all the real good penn stuff then i realised i didnt have nothing.so im going to havt to start over again

Not a big fan of Berkely. Izorline, Ande, Momoi would be preferred. Can go an use your stuff for mud marlins (stingrays) or bottom fishing. 30lb test is a good starting point
