I was going to go out with Twister today but got the call to late to get it all together and noticed my license expired anyway. Gonna try to get a new one today and my boat ready to go.

I see EVERYBODY coming in with Dolphins. Both of you guys, leoedw435 & Twister must have torn them up also. Heard of many going 20lbs plus. Hope you guys brought cameras

Man I did not get anything not even a knockdown. Had a nice boat ride we ran about 30 miles off Sebastian. Twister showed me how to rig hoo with the cool haywire twist tool. This tool is so east to use even I can do it like a pro. Whoever invented this must be “THE WIRE MASTER”. My bate looked good in the water I think the fish just weren’t biting were I was. Well I’ll be going next Saturday as long as the weather is good so give me a call sinker and let me know if you want to go.

I'm sure Bill already told you to break the back of your hoo in two places to give them better movement.
Also check to see if they are washing out quickly. If so try and find a new place for bait as you are either getting old bait or bait that is not being handled properly, frozen, thawed, re-frozen etc.
Persistence pays off that is for sure and seems like you have been out allot lately. Wish I could say the same.
Next weekend all depends on how things are going with my son as he has surgery tomorrow AM. It is a minor thing but still he is concern #1.

Well here we go,it was a bit bumpy going out but no worries, got out to 160 and began to troll, nothing not a sign of fish. I started to take us to deeper water and began to start to see life. As I came accross a temp change and wind rip the down rigger goes off, fish on. Saw the fish break surface could no tell what it was but kinda knew it was a cuda. When we got it to us I was right. Back you go. A little while later the long rigger goes off, Nice run nice fight. No jumps so still wondering. Get to boat, Nice Doplhin 10-12lb little gaff action in the box. Troll for another 2 hours and the flat line goes off, Fish on!
another nice run, to the boat with you and another nice 10-12 cow in the box. By now I was 37 miles NE of the inlet and starting to think home. We hit a couple of bottom spots on the way in with no luck. Got to the dock and cleaned her up and off we went. There was a camera on the boat and we have pics I am waiting for them to be emailed to me. ALL in all it was a great day on the water. Now that things are going better they are not safe from me any more. The time has come!!!!!!

Couple of fish in the fish box is always a good feeling.
Sorry about not being able to make the trip with you.
I am hoping I may get out next weekend. Taking Katie out tonight to the local docks to see if she can get a snook. She got her first Trout last week and a Red Fish as well not to mention a slew of Whiting so time to try for Snook.
