I can't help it...I do! :wiggle:
I know this is a late report...lots of catching up to do after a tournament you know! :eyepopping:
The first day of the tournament was should we say "not so calm!" NOAA called for 2-4's...that was the understatement of the year to say the least as everyone knows by now. :blah:Needless to say, it didn't go to well the first day! :crying: This picture is deceiving because the beautiful sunrise is like a mermaid...come to me sailor...it is safe! Even though I am sitting on a rock jutting out of the floor of the ocean!

Okay okay, that picture was from the Kingbuster, I just realized. But it is such a beautiful picture I am going to allow it!:)
But the second day, WOW, the Atlantic "LAKE" was beautiful! One of those Chamber of Commerce days. :clap:The alarm clock however was CLEARLY malfunctioning because I am certain the Captain wouldn't have turned it off at 4:00am only to wake up at daybreak screaming "Oh Poopy!!" It MUST have been a power surge or a banana clad demon!
Anyway, we finally got out there and ran the beach for bait...not one single flippin' pogie. :bash: So we headed out to a spot we thought might hold some fish...wrong! After an hour of no bait and no action on the troll, we pulled up and headed to FA. Jigged up an assortment of bait that I wouldn't normally admit to  , (let's just say that the aquarium would have been a happy camper!) We figured live bait was still better than artificials or nothing so we sent them down. Within the half hour, the line went off and we pulled up this one...(the biggest of the two).

Then we got the lines back out and before we could even get the third line out the little guy struck! Jesse Jaimes, (my daughter), got the rod and brought it in. She was actually ticked off that it didn't fight more! Once I saw the fish, I said "Shauna, get the gaff!" You shoulda seen her eyes!!! :eyepopping: I told her there is no pressure, we don't have to have this fish, but it's a great time to practice. Showed her the basic idea, and she stuck it on the second try! :iconbeer:
