Just a quick hello'

I fish the central east region, mostly kayak in the lagoon, now I bought a 17'10" PennCraft to look for Cobia and surf fishing, looking to get a few spots offshore on a good day that won't take me out too far on the 17' boat. Any suggestions or gps spots would help me get started.
