Finally a fishing report from my boat!
Rebecca and I headed out to the ICW looking for flounder and redfish. We stopped by Ricks and had Thomas and Ron hooked us up with a few dozen live shrimp. We launched out of the Beach Blvd ramp and headed North just passed the Atlantic bridge. We found a nice looking spot and tested out our new trolling motor.

Pretty soon we had our first Flounder on the boat, but it was just shy of eating length.

That fish came in on a 3" baitfish Big Hammer on a 3/16oz darter jighead. http://www.getbentflorida.com/gallery/data/523/ICW_flounder_1.jpg
Not long after that I hooked into a 14" flounder and he got an invitation for dinner! Sweet my first legal flounder, and on a west coast lure :D :D. For some reason I decided to ditch the hammer and go to live shrimp in hopes of a redfish. Well that was the last fish of the day, fish yes, but this blue crab decided he wanted to eat my shrimp.

We went fishless for the next couple of hours and tried a coule more spots... no more fish. But we had a couple of tacos in the cooler and headed home.
