We are going to Panama City this weekend Spanish fishing but I'm afraid we may be too early in the season. Someone let me know if they are running yet. We plan to fish in and around the pass. I have heard only a few have been caught off the Dan Russell Pier so far along with a few Pompano.

Everyone is expecting them any day now. A bud thought he saw a school a couple days ago, but none have shown up at Tyndall Marina yet. We're gonna give it a go on Sunday - see ya out there.

I spoke with Dan Russell Pier yesterday, Word is thier tearing them up out there. We're pulling the boat out of Biloxi tommorrow morning at 5 on our way for the weekend. I hope the trip is worth it. I'm planning to leave my 22 foot Angler at my families house there in Lynn Haven throughout the season. I can't wait till the Kings start running. Good Luck to everyone this weekend. Hope ya'll have a good time.

I was supposed to go out tomorrow but the winds are blowing crazy and keeping the seas big here on the east coast.
Maybe Gabe and I should head to the Gulf side...

Forecast for PC coast is 5-10 kts and 1-2' seas; Sunday probably a little better than Saturday. Also hearing in the bay over by the city marina is schooling pretty good too. I'm planning on draggin around in the bay and through the pass - put one line deep in case I drive by one of the grouper I keep hearing about. Was out by the Whistle Buoy last weekend and wasn't seeing much, but the water will be a couple degrees warmer this weekend.
GOOD LUCK ~ Shot

We caught a grand total of 100 Spanish in the pass at Panama City over the weekend. So between 4 of us we all got a good mess of fish. I posted our pics in the Photo Gallery. Did you do any good Shotf16. I take it from your name that your Air Force maybe? I noticed they had a big air show at Tyndall this weekend. I guess you didn't have to work it? I am active duty Navy myself. I come home to Panama to fish has much as possible, I can't wait till the Kings start running, let me know when they start catching them over there. Thanks, ya'll have a good week.

I think you must have got them all... between the air show and the PC boat show we only got out for a couple hours late Sunday and got into the Bluefish but no Spanish. We were just on a bait run anyway. Yep, AF type at Tyndall. Blue Angels put on a good show Saturday. I was twisting steel yesterday getting ready for the Kings, had 71.6 degrees on the bottom machine Sunday - so hopefully not too much longer. I'll let you know about the first nibble.

Where'd ya'll catch all the Blue's at? We rode out to Chickasaw killin time for a little bit Friday. There was a few fish on the reef but we didn't do anything. I probably won't make back over to fish till late April. I'll probably come for Easter but that's reserved for family time, unless I can slip out to my favorite wade fishing hole? If I bring the boat my wifes gonna know what's going on. Anyhow, ya'll let me know when them Kings start taking bait. Take care and let me know how the fishings going.

PG - Kings are here in full force. Had two monsters steal a couple jigs and have boated a couple on blue or purple dusters. Even drug in a Cobia on a duster this week; not much more than legal, but still a Cobia. Pix will be up in a couple days!

Cool I've been TDY for the last week. I'm going to try to go out to the rigs off Biloxi this weekend. I've heard their biting out there too. Good Luck I'll look forward to seeing those pics.
