That's what I said when I landed this 26 inch redfish! It was a cold and windy day, about a 20-30 knot wind right out of the Northeast and into our faces and we had been there a L-O-N-G time when this nice red took a Berkley Gulp peeler crab rigged on a Sure Catch jighead. After fishing with dead shrimp and live mud minnows the previous evening and all morning, and being laughed at for trying the "stupid plastic", it was quite a fishing victory! This is my biggest legal red yet, and the ONLY keeper red caught that day!

Nice Red - yeah the Red Fish and the Red Head ;)

You know I have gotten my share of Red Fish for the few times I get out but they all seem to be either under or over the slot. Think I have gotten maybe two keeper size is all and they went back into the big pool as well. I seem to have better luck with the over slot Reds for some reason.

Berkley Gulp Peeler Crab - well whose laughing now. You gotta change things up and try something new every once in awhile. GREAT JOB.

Nice fish!

Berkley Gulp is a totally new concept for me. It is going to cause much mirth amongst my buddies, but I am determined to try it.:D

With some help of one of the guys in California I am getting a sample delivered here and am looking forward to "tricking" the fish with that stuff.

The comments I get it shat it is guaranteed to work better the the "real" stuff.

I am waiting for the White Sea bass to come around.

You guys are the greatest! I have not posted in quite a while...working two jobs to support this bad fishing habit of mine! I am going to make a couple of new threads and add some pics...this is a great site and it's going to be up to us to get it cranking!
