Quality shark.....

I am fishing off pasco county in a 21' sea ray, I am looking to better my biggest shark of 6'. Can someone please tell me how and where to catch these beuties of the deep. Any and all info would be helpful. Meaning chum, Bait, and gear suggestions, thanks for all the help. I look forward to reading your replys. By the way, I am new here, and have never posted before, hope it works.

Not familiar with the area you are in. Guess I am fortunate as I can land sharks 6' and better from shore at the inlet.

I imagine time of year is important.

For me here, I look for a nice night coming into a full moon with an outgoing tide to facilitate getting my bait out. A nice ladyfish or mackerel does wonders and then the fight is on.

If I was fishing from a boat I would indeed chum the waters.
