Hello, I was looking for a fishing fourm so my girlfriend and I could converse with other fishermen like ourselves.....I have been fishing saltwater in hernando county since about 1974.....mostly from the shore at the mines (till it got closed) or Jenkins creek or mud river (when there were a few empty lots to fish from....that was a long time ago)....got a small jonboat a few years back and fished the flats for a while till the kicker gave out (hope to get it back in the water soon).... met a wonderful woman last year....we fell in love and about two months ago she asked me to go fishen....i figured she would go once and that would be that....she loves it and is a natural and i would feel like i was cheaten on her if she did'nt go with me (she said i would be anyway and i better not or elese:slap: ) how lucky can a man get....

I think you will find like allot of other boards more people lurk then post. Everyone looking for the 411 on what is hot but not willing to pony up what they have heard. It will take some time but people will jump in.

she is awesome to fish with....we have been skunked a few times now and we fish all night up till noon the next day in the cold weather and all the greenhorn breakers you can think of (that can happen onshore((without a trip to the horsepistol)) and not one hint of a complaint and she can't wait to go back....when she gets tired of watching the bobber she picks up her pluggen rod and casts....puts all her own bait on and fixes what she knows how to fix herself....for her birthday i'm takeing her on an inshore guieded trip for reds and trout...thats next month....on the flip side she had two children of her own and still wanted to make a family with me knowing i have and take care of four of my own....yup....you added right....that makes six....she is also a saint....have'nt told her bout the hundred dollar fishing pole i bought her yet....she'll either kiss me or hit me....we'll see

hello Twister....where is sebastian florida? it's been a long holidays (no fishen and because of it the better half of me is having withdrawls....if we dont go soon i dont know what she might do....i could wake up with a yuzuri minow glued to my forehead....or worse)....but they have been good....the best part was when (about 2 months ago) she caught her first trout and i took a picture of it with my camera....when we went back to view it, it was gone...nowhere to be found in the memory of that camera anywhere....i thought she was going to kill me....about a week or so later i was downloading the camera and there it was....she was at work so i printed it out on an 8/10 glossy and framed it and gave it to the kids to give to her for thier (all six of them) christmas preasent....she had noooo idea what it was and i mean not a clue....her face lit up so big on chrismas morning when she opened it....then she started to cry and told us that was the best thing she ever got....she was so happy....she had been busten my chops about it since that day....better get her to the water soon though or my days may be numberd....planing to go this weekend.
