A big shoutout to to all you deep jiggers.:lol: I just picked up a Sevenseas
"Tuna Mania" spin jigging rod. It's a supah lightweight 5'4" carbon/glass blank that can handle 14oz jigs, and is very well balanced with my Shimano Sustain SA8000FD reel.
I get to baptize it this weekend on a 2-day offshore trip. Will be on a partyboat doing some bottom fishing and Tuna fishing. I'll be tossing long and medium jigs made by Zest, Braid, Sevenseas, and Shimano.
Hope to bag a few YFs, AJs, and a very large Grouper. Will post report and pix.......just gotta figa how to?....the pix thing.:git:
