My Custom Rod 10'

I'M A JUST STARTING TO WRAP MY OWN RODS WITH NO WORK STATION I'LL BE GETTING ONE SOON. THIS IS MY PIER CONVENTIONAL CASTING ROD IT IS A LAMIGLASS BLANK WITH TURBO GUIDES. IT'S DOUBLE WRAPPED WITH A RED WRAP FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. ALSO HAS THREE COATS OF EPOXY ON GUIDES. THIS WAS MY FIRST ROD I EVER WRAPPED.

Cool design on the rod. Is the line your using that Cajun red??? I know that Flipper over on the west coast boards used to use that stuff wondering how you like it.

YES IT IS LINE WORKS VERY WELL I'VE COUGHT PLENTY OF TARPON ABOUT 80 TO 90 #S , SHARKS 40 TO 50 , KING FISH & BARRACUDA 30TO 50 ON IT. ( 30 # TEST ) ON THE ROD THAT ON THE POST I CAN CAST A 6 oz CLAW SINKER ABOUT 80 TO 90 YARDS MEASURED @ THE LOCAL FOOTBALL FEILD. LINE IS ALWAYS CLEANED WITH FRESH WATER & MAINTAINED WITH REEL MAGIC LUBE
