I can only hope this site does as well as our California Site - Actually I hope it out does the other site as I now live here is Florida and need to show the guys it can happen again. Magic that is. Our California site although small for the State gets over a million gross site hits a month yet the members are a great group and have almost weekly events.

Once a year we have the Get Bent Sportfishing Jamboree - this year it starts with a multi day tuna trip and ends with the BBQ and shore fishing tournament and awards ceremony. Of course that doesn't mention all the great stuff in between like overnight charter trips, mud marlin tournaments, seminars, parties etc., etc.

Every month we have a giveaway - from lures to reels to custom rods.

If things workout here we will be doing the same - giving stuff away, getting together to fish, drink and tell lies and of course share something we all have in common.

Of course one thing I would love to do is a have a little competition between the sites. Of course I can already hear them complaining about that not being fair because our fish are bigger.
