Eh, any spin fishing fanatics tried the Fin-Nor Offshore reels yet? If any of you purchased one, could I get some info on it how it performs-feel etc. Is it worth the price for an offshore reel? Thanks.....:)

which size are you looking at, and I believe they are coming out with two different lines for their offshore reels in spinning

I know they come in 4 sizes. The OFS75, OFS85, OFS95 is probably the ones that I could use deep jigging for Tuna and AJs. I can't see spending the monies on a Stella or Satiga as I already seen a Saltiga Z6000 broke off from it's foot. That's 7 bills down the drain.

I was looking at the OS 65 for pier fishing but it might be too heavy .

I just bought the os 95 with the matching fin nor offshore rod, I will be taking it out this weekend bottom fishing. I put 40lb p line copolymer on it and see how it works out. May switch to braided but the party boat's don't like them too much.

Purchased on about 4 months ago. Primary use will be throwing poppers to tuna on the LR boats out of San Diego. Used it a few times here in Florida for Reef Donkeys, bonito and grouper. Impressive reel. Very good drag. Handle is one of the best I have used. Only downside is the weight. A bit heavy. Anyway, good reel. I replaced my Penn 750SS with it and have been very pleased.
