Nice foggy morning to get things started. I went back to an area I had worked last weekend and had pretty good action all morning. Lost two fish on top waters, one pulled the hook, the other just blew up on it. Switched to my go to bait, exude watermelon jerk bait. Second cast, had a 20" redfish on. Next cast got another 21" red. I was waiting for the tide to turn and the major feeding period to kick in and I was expecting to see some snook on the flats, but they stayed up in the shallows. I mean shallow, it was less than a foot deep. So I got out and did some sight casting, lost two fish, one red and a snook, but I did manage to sight cast to two snook up inside a small creek. One 25" and another 23" snook. What a blast, saw them, made the cast, saw the take and explosive strike, pretty cool.

That indeed is some skinny water.

My boat won't get that shallow, I can't kayak, well paddle quiet enough nor walk quiet enough to get into a foot of water.

Nice job - Any pics of those Reds???
