We killed the spanish macks and some smaller king with a few going about #15 today at the party grounds. My mate had a least 35 hookups and put 15 in the boat. I put 5 in the boat and another one of our deadheads had 12 in the boat. We handed almost all of the off to customers to reel in. We where fishing the south tip of the party grounds. I'm sorry I don't know the water temp. We also had 2 nice cobes on bottom rigs. They where 25 and 30 lbs by my guess. We where jigging them with a fast retrieve off the bottom to mid water and back down again. We must have went through 30 jigs. Those kings love to hit that jig on the way down and bang, the jig is gone. This was the best king fishing on jigs we have had all year. We have caught them all year but not like today. We didn't get in on the really nice run they had on the beach a few months back so I'm not saying it was better than that by any stretch but it was good.
