I promised Sinker some pictures from our family fishing trip out of Lanark Village, just south of Tallahassee.
We were anchored up and bumping the bottom hooking up with some triggerfish and an occasional grouper. We had a pinfish freelined off the back of the boat when all the sudden line just started peeling off! My son Nicholas, 16, grabbed the pole and after a short fight, the biggest fight he's ever had though, he brought in his biggest king to date...

34 lbs!!! He was soooo excited! Whipped, but excited!
A short while later, different spot, same scenario my brother Ian hooked up with this one!

This one went 23 pounds but the coolest thing was it was his biggest fish, only king, and it was 3 days before he left for Iraq! What a send off! And yes, he's already got reservations for another trip out when he returns in September!
I'll tell you one thing...those are real smiles you can't fake, I don't care who you are!
Catch ya' soon!
