Got a forecast we couldn't pass up and have good news on grouper moving in. What can I say... All was right.
Started with my daughter GETTING BENT!!!

Landed her biggest ever with a 7# Gag; good thing she brought her "energy drink" today!

Of coures since it was mid Nov, the Snapper bite was red hot (only the big ones to prevent a hundred pix).

Best news: NO inadvertant kills. All Snapper caught = all Snapper released in good shape.
Finally my oldest son GETS BENT on his best ever 12# Red Grouper on a live sand perch.

And as it should be, saving the best the last... my youngest son pulls a monster 18#er with a whole dead squid.

Here they are again at weigh in back at the dock; long drive back, so the sun beat us. Added bonus after a great fishing trip was an amazing sunset and dead flat water that looked like liquid mercury off the starboard stern as it met the wake. Drive home was incredible enough; then add on the kids rockin the boat with great catches = BEST DAY EVER!!!
