I had enough of packing/moving/unpacking , it was time to go fishing!
I stopped by Hook Line and Sinker for some live shrimp and what a nice group of people in there! The lady behind the counter gave me a few tips on spots. I hit up the short bridge on A1A just south of the carousel on Sat afternoon to sunset and it was wide open on all the short Mangrove Snaper you would want unfortunately no big boys. The pinfish were going Ape Poop and I managed a few small grouper and some croakers as well. All fish were released and all were caught on a dropshot rig wth live shrimp.
I hit the same area up the next day from my kayak and it was night and day difference the bite was really slow on the incoming high to the peak and the falling. I set up ona sweet looking spot and nothing but pinfish. Looks like I have my work set out for me, need to do some recon, but with this spot only 6 miles from our new house, I'm liking it!
