Best out there IMHO

CALUSA Cast Nets (http://www.calusa.com/)

We also have a local guy who custom makes nets Tim Wade I believe is his name. GREAT NETS and reasonably priced. Not stiff at all. I just had a custom 10' made with 12 pounds of weight. Only problem is I have never been able to throw a cast net worth a damn. I have watched he videos and can do OK in the back yard but on the water - just can't do it yet.

I threw a walmart brand for about 8 yrs. it was a 7'. I think it cost me $30.00. I finally broke down and bought a new one it's manufactured by Betts, i purchased it at Dick's sporting goods. it's an 8' net green in color. I have not thrown it yet though to tell if the weight is sufficient but I'm pretty sure it'll work just fine, it cost $50.00.

I Can't Throw A Cast Net At All... I Look Like A Monkey Screwing A Football.... I Can Use A Sane Net If I Have Help Though. Plus Keeps The Kids Busy !!!
