LEGAL SNOOK
I feel like I won the lottery as I have finally landed a legal snook.
Picked up Twister and went out in support of our Get Bent Brothers in Ventura California and their battle with the Harbor District.
Sounds as though things went very well for them there. We must have gotten some good karma to put tis legal snook in the boat.

Went 12 pounds and was 3/4 of an inch in the slot. Measured it three times to make sure.
Hit on a mullet in the Wabasso area. We tried the inlet and just outside the inlet as well but was not getting any love there except for rocks.
Also landed a huge and butt ugly Mother-N-Law fish. You know the kind, Ugly as hell, mean as hell and just waiting to attack and bite you, very bad attitude.
I must admit we missed more than we landed but we were wiped out from a long tough week and it was just good to get on the water.
Seems I am having some live well issues as I can't keep any bait alive for more than an hour. Has not been cleaned with anything other than water. It appears as there is not adequate water flow.
The Min Kota 3X steering is still a pain in the arse for both of us so I will be selling it off and getting something smuck like me can use.
Oh yeah, caught on Mullet.

The new seats were AWESOME. Still need Trim Tabs, Power Pole, additional courtesy lighting and then the trolling motor replacement. Oh yeah and the Live Well fixed. Also a 10' cast net with extra weights and someone to teach me how to throw it.
