My wife and I are coming to Florida over the 4th week, even plan on visiting Sinker and fam when we are there. :D But we will be spending some time in Jacksonville and Daytona Beach and would love to hook up on some Redfish, Snook or just some new species that we don't get over here on the right coast. So any suggestions would be helpfull or if anyone will be around to show a few left coast newbies how it's done we would appreciate it.

Adam as you know from the PFIC Boards the Jacksonville Pier has landed a few nice fish lately. Not sure of what the consistency is but here is a link to their site: http://jacksonvillebeachpier.com/
When in Daytona you can hit up the Sunglow Fishing Pier. Here is a link to their site: http://www.sunglowpier.com/fishing.htm
You may also want to check out this site as well: http://www.boatlessfishing.com/
I figure those would be good to visit plus let you post on the PFIC Boards.
Now we can get you into some inshore action as well as offshore action if you want. It is all about time. When I do the GBS CA Jamborees I sometimes literally get off one boat and get on another, get of it and head to the next shore event with most my sleep being on the boats or while waiting for my clicker to go off. Makes for exhausting trips but I get in allot of fishing.
So, I need your time tables as we can take Day Head Boats out of Canaveral, Daytona, New Smyrna Beach etc., etc. for offshore fishing or I can even do a night boat 7PM till 5AM. If interested in an offshore trip let me know where from and I will set it up.
For inshore where you will be much more likely to catch a Red Fish I can see if any of the guides will blow us a kiss on an inshore trip for you and Rebecca. The boats are small and two people is about the limit and comfortable.
Knowing the exact dates you will be available will also let me check the moon phase and tidal conditions for the Sebastian Inlet, if they are right I can most likely put you on a shark between 50 and 200 pounds that you will fight from shore for about an hour and a half. Trust me if yo get into 300 pounder, one will be enough and you will be ready to head home. We can take the camper so if Rebecca gets tired she can crash while we fish. Figure that would make for a good report on PFIC as well for you.
