WE HAD A GREAT WEEKEND!!! We were out in 500 feet of Ft.Pierce on Saturday and put 8 dolphins in the boat. I was using naked hoo with a single hook trolling about 4 to 5 MPH. We found a huge weed line and worked it all day. We had 7 in the boat all were 8 to 10lb. So we stopped to go for a swim. We had the motor off and were bringing in the lines and right off the back of the boat we had color. Nice dolphin folded the bait in. I had 2 of the ballyhoo rig on heavy spinning rods so I cast it out and she fowled it so I cast again on the third cast it hit it and in the cooler it went. Now that was a great day.
So Sunday Sinker and my friend Justin loaded up at my house 5:30am and headed back out of Ft.Pierce. This time for some bottom fishing. We got outside the inlet and about 150 to 300 yards off the north jetty we loaded up on Greenes and one blue runner. We headed to the south end of bethel shoal and anchored in 74 feet at a leg that dropped to 82 feet. Well we loaded up on some big fish. I’ll let Sinker tell you about it he is a better writer then me and he has the photos. This was a great weekend and man do I have some good fish to eat and wait till you see the monster king Sinker got. :)
