When I bought my boat it had a leaning post with a storage box. Thought this was pretty cool until I started actually using it. Who likes standing up and only having a cushion to lean your butt on, well, not me nor the BOSS (my wife).
So a change had to be made. Ordered up some custom seats to fit our needs and they came in today. Tomorrow they got to Bob Todd's Custom T-Tops and Canvas to get installed with foot rest etc., etc., etc.
We decided we wanted comfortable seats with arm rests. I decided I still wanted the option of standing while operating the boat so a drop down seat was needed as well. Now of course I do a little trolling now and then and sometimes we even have the kids with us sitting in the back flip up seat so being able to sit back wards would be nice, answer, a swing back chair.
Well we got it all. Here are some pics of one of the seats in the different positions/configurations it can be in. They will be mounted side by side and maybe have drink holder between them if there is room. Regardless operating separately of one another will allow me to sit forward and Captain the boat while a passenger sit facing back wards watching the trolled rods yet our faces will be at about the same location is sitting side by side on a bench so we can still easily talk to one another.
I think these should work out GREAT....
Seat in forward facing position with Drop Down in the down or Seating position.
