Question to those who've fished FL coasts for awhile... does a hurricane churning up the waters help, hinder, or no effect on the bite? Hopin H-Dean gonna get something started on the Panhandle.

When the hurricanes hit us a few years back over here on the East Coast the fishing was GREAT just before they hit and I mean like a day or two prior up to hours prior - Yes - seriously. I know guys who didn't come off the water till it was to ruff or to stormy to stay out. I might do the day before IF I had everything squared away at home but that would be it.

Afterward it seemed pretty bad till the water cleared back up.
