Uploading & Posting Photo's with GBSF Watermark

Posting Photo's in the Forums with the GBSF Watermark is Required for certain Contests, Giveaway's, Events, Derbies and for being chosen as a Hot Report and making sites Front Page.

The Photo Gallery and the Forum are SEPARATE but there is no need to upload your pictures twice - Only once to the Photo Gallery.

OK, so go to the Photo Gallery and you will see on the right hand side a link that says "Upload Photos" Click this link (it is shown inside the yellow box in the screen shot below)



After you have clicked this link a new screen will appear. You must choose a Category for the picture and then use the Browse Button to locate the picture on your Computer (these two things are highlighted in yellow on the screen shot below)



You still have three (3) more things to complete before uploading your picture:
Enter Photo's Title - Enter an appropriate title for your photo (keep it clean)
Enter Photo's Description - Give a brief description of the photo (short report of photo)
Enter Photo's Keywords - Enter the type of fish, location or site, or one or two words describing photo, ie. Sebastian Inlet, Florida Red Fish or Custom Fishing Rod etc., etc.
These three areas are shown highlighted in yellow in the screen shot below.



Now Click the Upload/Submit button.
You should receive a notice of successful photo upload.

You need to now go back into the Photo Gallery and find the photo you just uploaded (if you see the thumbnail of your photo click on it.

You will now get a screen looking similar to the one below but with you photo in it. Notice the FIRST - UBB Code for the photo (it is highlighted in yellow on the screen shot below). Click the button copy to clipboard to the right of it.



Now go back to the Forum you wish to make your post in. Click on the New Thread Button or Reply button if adding to an existing thread.

Right click and paste the UBB Code into the post you are creating where you want the photo to displayed.

That's it.

CONGRATULATIONS you have successfully uploaded a picture to the forum with the GBSF Watermark and will not be disqualified from the giveaway event.

PLEASE NOTE: In the event that you would like to place a link to the picture you uploaded to our gallery on another site or something, just use the Direct Link Code below the UBB Code in the gallery as you did above.

We actually encourage you to post your pics like this on the forums whenever possible. That way they get put in our gallery and every photo will get a watermark as well.

When posting Fishing Reports please use this same process and start your report with your Best Picture - This is required for them to be listed on the sites main page as a HOT REPORT. The picture to be used for the front page must be no larger than 550 pixels wide and should be as close to the 550 pixel wide to be best viewed. The same full size picture can be used lower in your report.

NOTE: Contest, Events and Hot Report Submissions REQUIRE you to upload photos in this manner as they must have the GBSF Watermark to be accepted and valid.
